fourth attempt at electronic music, how can i improve?

this is my fourth attempt at electronic music, but the first one i've ever shared with anyone. please share what you like and what i can improve on!

yo man, congrats on getting your stuff out and requesting advice. on "the color of a heartbeat", the levels are too low, you'll have to bounce it out higher, or use a limiter / compressor to get them to a listenable level, because nowdays people dont turn the volume up, they just change songs.

consider someone saying "i don't like it" as success. the hardest part is getting noticed and played. be original and never EVER do it for anything other than your own sense of satisfaction. thats where your motivation and your sense of worth as an artist will will skyrocket

You should use a compressor and / or limiter on the master channel. Within reason - some folks push their signal till it looks like a solid block of audio, destroying all teh "dynamic range" (the highs and lows). What program u working in? also read this
