nanokontrol help. Not in control surfaces.

just got a nanokontrol, but can't get it working, as nanokontrol not listed in control surfaces dropdown. Want to get it up and running before later downloading nativekontrol. Ta.

If it's anything like its sibling the nanokey then it wont show up in the Control Surface list but you should still be able to select it in the Input and Output boxes assuming you have the correct drivers for it.

The above information is correct, just select it from the in/out fields of the control surface prefs.
I don't know what your needs are, but if you only need control of 16 or so tracks, you might look into the myr script, which you can find here:

it's free, so if it suits your needs it might be a better option.
