I'm looking into getting some IEM for DJing, just wanted to see if anyone here is using and what brand would be good?
So far I'm looking at these ones:

Shure SE425
WESTONE UM2
Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10

Using Shure E3c's right now, but I plan on getting the 425's soon.

I use to use shures but don't overlook monster copper pro. Monster gets a bad name for over priced cables and especially the beats by dre line.. The coppers really do have a great and unhyped sound. And no other brand has a one time replacement warranty, no questions asked. Read the reviews and talk to the forums at headfi.org and all they do is talk cans all day. Most agree that the these monsters in particular are very good. Plus, see if amazon still has the them on sale for 220 which is a great deal vs 399.

I recently had an appointment with a local company called Sensaphonics. The doctor injected my ear canal with some weird goop to create molds of my ear canals, and sent them away to be formed into the plugs. A week later, I have custom fit ear plugs made of nice silicon that fit perfectly!

I'm pretty sure their monitors are around $400-$500 and I can't vouch for the quality since I just have plugs. But the plugs are comfy for sure. You might consider that route.

I have a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5! But just for listening.
They sound very good (and relatively neutral, maybe a little tiny boost in bass and treble) and damp really much of outside noise. However they are really loud, so I have to be careful not to burst my ears. So I think UE is a pretty good choice, although i did not hear the other companies you've mentioned.

You might get disappointed. I "upgraded" to dual port UE and week after week, was using them less and less, finally got rid of them since I didnt feel like using, mainly due to fatigue. About year later picked up my old E3c and using them for work and everything else (bike etc) ever since. I recalled what Shure representative told me at the Messe that many of the endorsees (who get the stuff free, also can use any model) told them about their preference for E3s due to the lightweight. Indeed, now can say with my own experience it is serious factor, the reason I use E3 so much is that I hardly feel them, they do not bother me. Of course when I have to check something, needing precision I pickup HD 25 (for the low end) or HD 600 but for regular recording, experimenting, rough mixing (not final) it is mostly E3.
I did almost 1on1 comparison on the Messe few years back (almost because i had to walk between UE, Weston and Shure stands) my conclusion was Shure or UE both excellent in each quality, price category, interesting enough each spoke respectfully about other. Unlike Weston that were boasting how great they are but I wasnt impressed at all, they main customers are deaf people, so no surprise, they interests and competence in music section is not like of Shure or UE which are specialised companies, while Weston is 90% sick/deaf and regular ipod, audiophile consumers.

I got some Westone UM2's for a good deal here. About $200 USD when it was all said and done, after the conversion (new). I love them. It's weird having high dollar headphones that simply don't jack the bass up. I've never tried the others you've listed though, to be fair.

I was wondering how high do you guys turn it up on the mixer while wearing the in ear moniters? Because when I use regular headphones, I tend not to go pass half on the mixer.

i think it depends on your headphone amp and the impedance of the headphone or IEM so you might get a ton of different answers with people using differnt equipment..

Lets say a Pioneer DJM 800, most venues that I play at have that mixer.

I am huge fan of Shure mics and IEM. I have the 530SE's and I believe they now have a true 3-way driver model. Expensive but worth it. Good Chicago company too.
