What is the best way to render a MIDI clip w/VST in Session View to an Audio clip?
I have a simple 2 bar MIDI clip that is playing a VST that is hosted in that same track. I'd like to render that to an Audio clip. Ultimately I could delete the MIDI track and the VST.

just route the midi track to a audio track:
command + T (creates the audio track)
goto the audio from drop down and select the midi track
select Monitor In
arm the track by hitting the bottom button in the strip (its under the solo button)
hit record in the top and hit play on the midi clip...done
dont you have the manual?

Freeze the track. It will become blue. Drag the clip to an audio track. It will be a waveform instead of MIDI.

I thought freezing and dragging didn't pick up automation
