audio anomaly in live 8.2.1

Post by 5meohd » Sun Apr 17, 2011 10:47 pm

so I've found an anomaly with live's channel volume faders.

in a "DJ" template I have two audio channels.. there is some other routing going on with two instances of stutter edit.. (this is important but I'm not with my laptop at the moment, will edit).

basically with the faders at the same level channel one is exactly 2 db lower than channel two!!??

at first I thought it was shady mp3's or something... but it is with every single file.. dragging it from channel one to channel two while playing will raise the volume at the output! inputs are set to no input.. and outputs are either going out of the audio 8 DJ on 1/2 and 3/4 or into respective audio channels with stutter edit and then out..

I've tried deleting the plug-in and dropping new instances and the issue stands.

raising the channel to match works perfectly... just very odd.

It sounds like the 2nd output itself is set to be quieter. Have you tried adjusting the Cue volume control?
