Site says account has been suspended. Next to this forum, I use that site constantly. Does anyone know what happened?

My first guess would be that a payment went missing.

I'm sorry if this sounds too blunt, but my understanding is that the person who was maintaining it died. I think the Elektron folks have been trying to do something about handing it off to someone else, but such things take time, and I'm sure there will be problems along the way.

Yes, Actual was the one who ran the site, and since he passed away we have to go through a very long-winded process to look into site issues. We're definitely trying to get it back up asap, but much of this is out of our hands so it's taking some time. The good news is that the new forums that Elektron are going to host are almost complete, so in the worst case we'll have those up in a few weeks anyway.

If you guys could help spread the word about the forum issues being looked into, that would be great. There's nothing I can do directly, but I still have dozens of people emailing and PM'ing me asking me to fix it.

Thanks for solidifying the details. I'm out here on the periphery and have only tiny amounts of information.
