Sorry noob question but what are good ways to produce clean sounding chords that pulse with the beat. I understand side chain compression and get how to make the pulsing noise but every time I try to make my chords sound clean I cant do it for the life of me they just sound like dirt. Does any one have any suggestions?? I don't have the suite yet saving money. thanks!!

Look for some chord samples and pop them in simpler.
Select the Low pass filter in simpler turn it down to 0-100hz and open the filter envelope to taste, crank up the resonance add an lfo to the filter so they keep changing.
You can also tweak the attack, decay, sustain+release on the volume envelope AND the filter envelope.
Remember to switch the retrig off in the LFO and dont forget to add reverb and delay.
There is a you tube video on DUB TECHNO CHORDS for Operator but you can still watch it to learn what chords to play and how to tweak the reverb.

There is also a simpler with samples from the Monomachine here

Sorry for the basic questions but where is a good place to find chord samples? And what are the copyrights surrounding that

Dont worry about copyrights. especially for something as disputable as a synth sample. If you get big because of the sample, big enough to get sued over said samples, then it was worth it, and your name gets way out there anyways.

Don't use samples. Samples are for faggets who are't creative enough to make their own patterns. Cords are easy to make dood. Just play some long notes that sound good together and make sure they're in-beat with your song. Throw a sidechain on using compressor and it'll sound amazing. Don't use samples. Be original.
