This has been occuring for a while now on various plugins. ABL2, MorphoX, ElektraX, Predator, etc...

When I am adjusting knobs/sliders on the gui of these plugins, all of a sudden the gui moves just slightly, then poof... vanishes, and I need to re-click the wrench icon to bring the gui back up.

This is very frustrating, anyone else have this happen?

I am on Windows 7 64bit on an i7 machine with 6GB of RAM and a presonus audiobox usb audio interface.

I hope I can finally clear this up, or confirm that it is a known bug and it is being worked on.

I guess no one else has this issue? It happens when adjusting a control on the plugin for about 30 seconds without stopping... It looks like the plugin goes into "not responding" for a second, the window shifts a little bit, then it is like you clicked the close button. Just goes away... Sucks

This happens on multiple plugins. Check the above post for system info.

Running Live in vista sp2 compatibility mode can help. It will use up an unlock though, so if you're running low it might be an idea to email support first.

I'm also having this issue running the latest version of Live (8.2.2), though plugin window GUIs will also disappear after about 30 seconds of just having them open - with or without direct plugin activity.

It seems to affect all third party plugins - but not native Ableton FX - including Sonic Charge MicroTonic & d16 Group Phoscyon amongst others.

My current audio system runs WinXP (SP3), an Intel Core 2 CPU (@ 2.13GHz) and has 3GB RAM.

Never had this issue until the 8.2.2 update, though as I've mostly been AFK for the last few months I couldn't put a definite date/time on when it commenced. That said, I also haven't changed any of my usual preferences, only made the update to 8.2.2.

Anyone else out there dealing with this problem?

It is very annoying... Tweaking your plugin then it vanishes...

Wish more people would report this as it seems to affect multiple os'es.

Aside from the open-reopen merry-go-round, in my case it makes third party metering software pretty much redundant too.

Definitely annoying.
