The i7 2600k is an AWESOME CPU. Make sure you couple that thing with an SSD for the boot drive...unbelievable speeds when loading Live, instruments, etc. Also the stock CPU cooler is lousy, I would recommend an aftermarket one.

if that's what you really want, i'd suggest buying a discrete graphics card. you don't want the CPU handling all video as well as audio software.
but give it a try first... if you think it's fast enough, then don't buy the video card.
hope you don't have a firewire interface as there is no firewire on this mobo!
i'd also suggest getting crucial or mushkin ram instead of kingston.
don't forget you need a DVD or BD drive and an OS. and make sure you get a Sata III hard drive.
i assume the chassis you are talking about is the Armor A30.. it doesn't have doors so that's ok but it must be a nightmare to work inside that case and it probably doesn't have enough room for an aftermarket cooler.
overall, i'd rethink your build and throw a bit more money into it.

OR you could go with an i5 2500k and use the stock cooler...these are a little less money and give you about 85% of the performance of the i7. The new coolers for these chips are HUGE!
Good luck!
