I borrowed my friends APC 40 took it home and cant get it hooked up. The faders move but when I go to Midi mapp the knobs it doesnt even show up. The bottom set of knob arem mapped to random things like delays and stuff but I cant map it to anything else new. In preference I have the APC seleceted in the first row and APC40 for in put and output. What else am I missing here so that I can mapp these knobs

in the midi sync section of the preferences under the "midi ports" section, turn on the remote switches next to the apc40 input and output.......you should be able to midi map after that.
