When a loop is dragged into a clip slot, it is automatically set to Warp mode: "Re-pitch." I would love to be able to either have the Looper's behavior reflect the 'Default Warp Mode' or set it elsewhere.

Same goes for bit rate. I have my Bit depth set to 24 in Live's preferences, however, clips via the looper come in at 32bit.

I like to have my clips at 24 bit/ Complex Warp (Yes, I transpose them via MIDI--hence the request).

9 years later: Ableton, please please let us choose the defaul warp mode for the Looper!

totally agree, for 10 years now hahaha.
i often put the loops in my arrangement - if i then change the tempo, which often happens playing live, the loop goes out of tune:(:(:(
