Hey.. So i am currently in the switch from Cubase 6 to Ableton live 8.. Problem i am having every time i load up Live 8.. It loads a stupid demo project up.. That doesn't let me delete all the tracks from it..

I click 'New Live Set' but it still brings it up again - Its annoying me that i cannot just have a fresh set to start with..

Here is a picture of the demo project..

Does anybody know how to get this off :? There doesnt seem to be anything in the preferences section..

Thanks!

Delete everything in the demo set until you only have what you want to start out with.

After you have it the way you want it, open up preferences and go to the file/folder tab and choose "save current set as default' and everytime you open up Live, it will start you off with the way it is currently set.

In the preferences section you'll only find the "save current as default" option as blakjesus described.

Instead of cleaning out the set manually find a file named "Template.als" and delete it. - That's the default set saved with the above option.

On a Mac you should find it beneath user/library/preferences/ableton/live [version.number.blabla]
