So yeah I'm wondering if I can drag and drop yet from iTunes 10 into Live 7?

when I first upgraded to iTunes 10 I could not.....Just wondering if that has changed?

Can anyone comfirm or deny this first hand?



i'm on a Macbook 2.16 ghz OSX 10.4

Can we please avoid the up grade to Live 8 question. I'm very happy with Live 7 and refuse to pirate software.

Months ago.

Its just a huge pain to back up everything. Try it and if you doesn't work uninstall everything. and reinstall the old.

If someone can tell me first hand that would save me my precious time.

You're on OSX 10.4??? You should probably be on OSX 10.6 at least since 10.7 is about to drop next month. That might be a problem right there.

I'd ask why you're still on 10.4 but you're answer probably won't make a lot of sense at this point.

you're in the hands of Mac users, good luck with that.

OSX 10.6.7, iTunes 10.2.2, Live 7.0.18 you can drag and drop songs directly from iTunes into Live. You probably could long before the current versions of the software.

And not trying to come off as a dick here, but I am confused as to why you couldn't just test this yourself. Sounds like you have all the needed software.

No but I did try it a couple months back, and spent a day backing things up and loaded up the new version. It did NOT work so I spent the night going back to itunes 9. Just trying to avoid that again.

But on a related note I did discover my father's Snow leopard update disc and dispite all the Mac warnings of "Dont do it! you need to send us more money" the upgrade worked fine. even saved me 10 gigs of who knows what info on my HD. So yeah I'm rocking 10.6 on the laptop now.

I have 3 Macs and was surprised when I could upgrade them all to Snow Leopard off the same disc, but as we all know Apple makes most of their money off hardware so they really don’t have to gouge you on software or demand multiple licenses.

Hey, I can't drag and drop from iTunes 10.5 to Live 7.0.18 with OS 10.7

Is this expected or do I have some special problem. It works with Live 8. I made a thread about it last night but its getting lonely.
