Is it possible to build a simple crossfader in M4L?

In the 'Features Requests' thread I've asked for multiple crossfaders to be considered for future inclusion in some later version of Ableton - but, in the meantime, would it be possible to create them in M4L?
Please excuse the newbie-ishness of the question, but I've been holding off buying Ableton until this issue (of mine) is resolved and I'm not exactly au fait with the way everything works!
Many thanks for any help given...

What do you need more crossfaders for? ie. how do you plan to use the extras?

For sure its possible. You need to mark the tracks you want to crossfade, and then control their volume from a fader.
Just made a device which should do what you want, I uploaded it to MaxForLive.com:

Have fun...

The new Modulator from Prebentious let's you build any type of Crossfade curve you need:

Just select "Slider" from the Input-Drop-Down-Menu and draw the curve you like.

To crossfade between parts (i.e. between drum tracks/basslines, etc), rather than just from all sources selected as A to all selected B.
Stefan - Thanks for your help!
