Hey there,

I've been trying to setup some loops to the pads of my AKAI MPK25 pads (to use as an MPC), but I am not figuiring out how to do it.

I tried to play with Impulse or Sampler, but the Loop only works if I press and hold the pad, and it ends when i release it.

I want it to play a loop with a simple hit or press, without needing to continuously holding it...do you know what i mean?

can somebody help me please?

Load it into Simpler/Sampler, set it to loop, and set the release time to 60sec. They'll fade over time, but you can just hit the pad again.

The only problem is that they'll always play at their original BPM, so you'll have to either find whatever pitch plays them at the appropriate BPM and only play that, or resample them at the tempo you'll want to use them.

Any reason you can't set the MPK pads to trigger clips instead of using them to sample loops?

You might also be able to set the pads to be toggles, but I've never tried.
