Setting up Geist in Ableton (think its something simple?.)

Hi, new here.
I've been slowly getting the basics down, it's been a long time since I've made any music so this might sound simple, I hope.
Geist starts automatic when you press play along with my instruments, samples etc. but how do you arrange Geist in the arrange window so it stops at section within the arrangement.
From my limited nohow do you have to create another midi track and trigger Geist from that allowing you to arrange geist via the midi track selected, if so how the bloody hell do you do it I've been messing around all day, this might sound so stupid normally I can work stuff out but I've come to a mental block. help
