How to: automatically launch the next clip ?

I have my tracks chopped up into several loops of different lengths (from 4 to 64 bars: intro > verse > chorus > ... )
While I'm DJ'ing with Ableton, I would like the next clip to launch automatically when the current one is 'done'. (meaning = played once)

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

See 'Follow action' in the manual.

Up !

I know about Follow Actions, but is there a way to play a clip just after a non-warped and unnecessary in a tempo beat clip has ended, without time data needed ?

Something like :
clip#1 finished > immediately play clip#2

Yes, this would be awesome!

Read the follow actions section of the manual again. I think you missed something.

Hmm, I must have missed it too. A follow action requires that the time at which the action should be taken be specified in bars/beats/16ths. There's no way to launch the following clip "at the end of this one" without specifying the follow action time in the launch area. For an unwarped clip that ends at an odd position (not a 16th note), it's not possible at all so far as I know...

I hope I'm wrong, I've been wishing for this feature for a long time!

Ease your workflow:

Record audio from your So unwarpable audio clip into another audio track then you got your clip with warp and follow action ready to set.

Can you explain this ? I've read it again and did not see how to use it as i described it.

Seems hard to do in a non-musical live performance, no ?

Is the current solution to your problem.... #justsaying before anyone launches into "yeah but this should be standard feature of ableton" i'm not saying it shouldn't be, i'm saying this is a solution today....

Erf, my company will certainly not spend money just for a single function, but it should definitely be a standard feature in Live.

But good job anyway !
