Ableton Forum

I'm having some problems with Native Instruments Massive and Ableton Live. I downloaded some presets for Massive and had some problems locating the preset folder (I know that is an issue for the NI forum). I've managed to get the presets in a folder that allows me to open them in Massive when it's in stand alone mode.
When I open Massive as a plugin in Live however, I see the names of the presets but when I select one the settings aren't changed. I just get the default sound. Any suggestions and/or explanations would be greatly appreciated, I'm a bit confused by this issue.
