Need to warp guitar and vocal no click

Hi,
I need to warp a piece that consists of acoustic guitar and vocal, that was not played to a click. Although the song was well-played, and in reasonable time, Ableton doesn't seem to do a good first guess. So I guess I'm going to have to set up the warp markers by hand.
Is there an easy way to do this? Otherwise, what I'd like to do is to fly the markers in manually, and then adjust them afterwards. Assuming that there isn't some brilliant way to do this, is there a way to trigger warp or transitional warp markers from a midi keyboard or ascii keyboard while the track plays?
Thanks,
Rob

Ableton has the best chance warping from the first real beat, so make sure you right click "set 1.1.1 here" at the first solid beat of a bar
but unfortunately for non-electronic/click track stuff you will probably need to go through bar by bar and probably stick a marker on every bar, sometimes even beats in the bar depending on how clearly the beats are defined
it's tedious, but just make sure you click save and you should only need to do it once.
I recorded a sitar player once and assumed he wouldn't want a click track, but he replied "God is in the click track" so maybe get the musicians to reconsider!

Start by warping in larger chunks. Like, 4 or 8 bars. You don't need to get the stuff in the middle perfect, but at 9.1.1, you should have that specific downbeat marked. As you make your way through the song, you might be able to get away with longer sections. You actually do NOT have to have this warped PERFECTLY, except for the points at which you are laying these sparse warp markers.
Next, go back through the whole thing, but notice if any parts are 'going astray'. Any part that seems the-furthest-off-the-mark is probably the best spot to add a new warp marker, and push it where it belongs. After the second run through, your track should be pretty nice. You can give it one last run-through to hear for any more specific problems that need to be fixed.
The key is to get the first part, making sure you are counting the Playing in your head, You don't really need to listen to the metronome, just count to where say 'beginning of bar 9' would be, and make sure the 9.1.1 is on that spot. etc. etc. The metronome is more for the second time through

what do you mean? If you pick up and move a transient it will become a warp marker
