I've found an excellent youtube channel for music production. They really do a great job of reviewing new instruments and effects. There's plenty of tutorials on helping you to achieve better mixes. You'll learn all types of tips and tricks such as New York style compression and pocketing. It really is one of the best kept secrets. I really shouldn't even post the link. I like keeping some things for myself, but I'll share this time. Here is the link:

i just started here> http://www.groove3.com/str/training-videos/
it cost like 30 bones for a months subscription..basically a rackload of videos on any DAW and music production ...just the first hour alone was worth it...
i also use> http://nickstutorials.com/ also costs money...but its well worth it...he gives you like 3 hours worth of video explanation for a few of the instruments in live. his tutorial on operator is pretty tight.
as far as free on you tube...i watched a lot of dj vespers videos.
tarekith from the forum has really good tutorials....he asks for donations....and he doesn't have videos.....but his tutorials are well done.> http://tarekith.com/

i follow dj vespers, dubspot, and a couple others....you tube gets tiring though, you start searching for tutorials and whatnot and you always get like 1 useful video and a million " yo its your boy " dj my mom's basement" "a$$ productions" shout out to skinny and dumb mike! uh......uh........yeah..... heres how you do a beat on ableton."
it gets dumb as hell on the you tube :?
