Midi map to separate idependent devices

I currently only got one small piece of controller hardware which is a bit limiting but want to make the most out of it.
I don't know what I want to do is called so I cant quite google it so you help is very much appreciated. I will try to explain what I want to do.
If I got one midi track running a soft synth, and I have mapped all the controls on my tiny midi device to the controls of the soft synth.
Then I have another midi track with another soft synth. I don't have any sliders or knobs left on my midi device and I don't want the same slider/knob to affect both synths at the same time.
Is it possible to assign all the knobs/sliders to both synths but you are able to choose which one to control, and only one at a time?
