I have a problem with Live 7 and Live 8 demo. When I try to drag a MP3 song to Audio clip slot program freezes. It starts to preview the song even the preview is off (blue headphones). Some tunes are analyzed OK, but on some others program freezes and I have to close it with Task Manager. All songs are same format - MP3, 320 kbps, 44100hz.
I'm running it on WinXP SP3, Asus P5QLPro, Intel C2D 2.2, Realtek Audio HD output (integrated)

How long is the clip you are dragging into clip? Sometimes if the file is huge the program will freeze up a little bit... try it again and wait a bit longer and see if anything happens. Does the same 'freeze up' occur when you drag the audio file into Arrangement view? Other than that, no idea
