Hi all,
Ooops, I recorded a new clip in track#1 but it had a bad note in. I need to re-record over the top of that clip in the current scene, and by re-recording it overwrites the bad clip.
How do I do this, as when I click the same 'record clip' button it now just plays the bad clip.
Any ideas, please?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Re-record audio / midi clips
If you are recording MIDI, check the OVD (overdub) button in the global transport so its on. Then any incoming MIDI notes are recorded on top of your old track.
Can't do that with audio tracks...you can just set the loop braces around the part that you want to replace and then do a quick "punch in" to re record that one part.
This is all covered in the Manual which you should read
