I was wondering if fiddling with the coarse and fine knobs on Operator's oscillators changes the pitch of the notes actually played on your keyboard. I noticed that the notes I played on my keyboard were different that the ones that showed up in the midi editor.

Anything recorded as a clip, is communication between your keyboard and that clip. The only exception would be if you had another midi channel that your keyboard goes through, and then goes out to another channel to record the clip that plays the Operator sound.

The knobs do change pitch within the Operator instrument, but anything relating to notes recording in a clip would not be effected by Operator. It does not change midi notes in the editor.

To put that another way, changing the coarse or fine knobs does not change anything about what comes out of the keyboard. If you press C2 on the keyboard then C2 is what you will see recorded in the clip's midi editor. However, if the coarse and/or fine knobs for an active operator have been changed then what you *hear* will be different as Operator will receive the C2 note and play C2, modified by the different operator settings.
