spdif doesnt work in live

[*]Hy there...first sorry for my english...
I have a problem to set up my spdif out of my motu ultralite in ableton.
My sound card it is linked by spdif with an a Krk ergo (a correction room sistem).
The problem is that if i set up my motu as the main soundcard of the computer for exemple,and i use iTunes i can here the sound from the monitor... but if i try to' use ableton i can here the saund.
I tried to' set up all the out channels of my motu in the audio preference but it stil doesent work,and i dont know how can i do to' make it work propely. Theres some drivers needed or something else ??? I remember im using Mac ...help!!!!!
