Ive been using Ableton on and off since Live 4, but have since sold my Technics 1210s and decided to go fully digital,

So now I have a load of Vinyl I am digitising and warping,

The technical side of the new Ableton 8 warp engine I understand, but currently I am setting 1.1.1 at the drop of the beat and then dragging the start head back the beginning of the track. This allows me to quickly see when to have mixed out the other track before it comes in full by watching as the playhead approaches 1.1.1 in clip view

I will also edit this intro section to a round number of bars to make it easier to play in sequence with another track. So I will edit/fade openings to -8,-16,-24 to make it easier to mix.

I also try to loop just before the breakdown, If I want to set a loop within the full track.

Is there anything else I should be thinking of? I dont want to find a much better way to do it after warping hundreds of tracks.

your collective ableton tips are much appreciated.
