So im having so many problems with this new 8.2.2 its pretty ridiculous.

So im going to try and do a re-installation. Will i lose my saved presets that ive made, they are currently all in my instrument rack folder, i dont want to lose them because obviously i put alot of time and effort getting my sounds together.

Does any one have any advice please, how can i make sure that my presets will never be lost even if Ableton decides it doesnt want to work.

What may seem banal to you may just slove my problem so please respond

Your presets are saved outside the main application folder. If this is a complete re-install (program file and all supporting files,) back up your presets by locating them in your system folders and copying them to another location.

You can easily locate any preset in your system folder by right-clicking it in your Live Library and selecting the "Show in Finder" or "Show in Folder" options.
