Is there a way to lets say set Enum/Range of a slider by an object or message?

Thanks, but while size and all the other common box attributes are to be set easily - enum/range and sorts are parameter-object attributes. and max doesn´t understand "steps" or "range" or whatever thats in the "Information about attributes available for Parameter-aware objects" list.


Ehm, and how do I translate your code posted?

If you click on '@' at bottom left of the inspector, it shows which attributes can be set by messages.

and, in the inspector, the @'s that are brown cannot be set dynamically - these set up info to the live application that cannot be changed. whereas the blue @'s CAN be changed on the fly.

is there a workaround? maybe someone programmed sliders in c/java whose min/max and steps attributes can be changed while runtime?
