I've have been looking for a soloution for this problem for a while now, so please can someone help

I want to make my own drum beats, using either lives racks or impules, or reasons redrum etc. However, I need a solid source of a huge range of different sounds for drum hits. I want the classic Roland 909 and 808 sounds along with quality acoustic hits. Reason's refill was an option, but I have Reason Adapted so can't use Refill.
So I need claps, rrim shots and other sounds. I can't be bothered sourcing free options as I've found the quality to be inconsistent.
So how do I do it? Sample library? If so, where from? Plug in? If so who's? I could buy a drum synth, but they seem a little narrow and I need an incredibly broad range for my music types.
I'm into chilled music like Moby and the XX but also into drum and bass and even sometimes proper acoustic stuff.
I dont mind spending a little, but not massive amounts of money.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
