Strange behaviour of clock caused by pitch bend automation!

Hello!
I'm working with a fairly new laptop (intel i5, fast hdd, etc) and win 7.
I try to sync and controll some hardware to ableton such as some Korg electribes (ESX, ER1, ES1), an Access Virus B and an Arturia origin.
I have the newest version of ableton (but only a LE version) installed and didnt experience any problems by now...
Until:
Each Instrument has its own midi channel. All are connected via Midi from my Midi out of my focusrite saffire 6 USB interface over a kenton midi thru 5 (a splitter), to the ins. None instrument has its out connected to ableton.
And heres the point: I have some tracks (my english ist not that good, im referring to the vertical groups of tracks) sending notes over a specified midi channel. Within it also sends cc to them: I experienced problems when sending pitch bend information (just over 1 channel) as ANY instrument slows down just as if i would automate the clock of ableton (which is by the way the host). (Bend down is linked to a decreased tempo, bend up to the opposite)
I tried setups without the midi splitter but I isolated (hopefully) the problem to the pitchbend information in the midi notes. I cant imagine why, but although the effect should appear, if at all, on only the channel of the track, it takes global affect.
PS: The clock within ableton works perfectly for audio: A sample is palying all the way through, when the external audio has it "hangs"
Did I do anything wrong? Is it impossible to send pitch bend to hardware?
Also I tried to shut of the automation and manually pitch an armed track by a pitch wheel: The problem occured again, although not all the time...
Please help me...
