1/ The Find tool in the left BROWSER is quite unusable... It is very very slow !
Even if I'm in a quite empty folder, this SEARCH tool is slow !

2/ On most BROWSERS (example : Windows' explorer), when you enter the first letters of a file, the broswer locates the first file beginnin with these letters. Do you see what I mean ?
This is not here in Ableton.... Could be really good !

Am I the only one to find the SEARCH feature in Ableton's browser unusable ?

no, your'e not alone. this has been discussed to death in the last couple of years. Just use finder.

Also, it is often the case that files are not being found by Ableton in the file manager despite the fact that they actually are in the folder specified to be searched.

there should be a link to the spotlight indication file on mac. it would be damn fast.
like on kontakt. use spotlight to find missing files-----> one second, bammm!
search in live is unuseble indeed....
