Ok, so yesterday is my birthday, dig....my chick treats me to some TexMex for dinner. I'm nursing a mojito afterwards when she pulls this cd out of her purse and says "Happy Birthday, Hun" as she's handing it to me with a quirky smile on her face. I was able to somehow mask the massive disappointment, and quite frankly....internal rage. She knows what kind of shit I like to listen to, but "figured this would be a nice change of venue...and something we could dance to out on the patio". Who the f**k are these morons? They look like EuroGuidos from the Ukraine or something for chrisakes.

Nah, actually I really do listen to most everything, but if I had to paint myself into a favorite genre, it would probably be prog rock, closely followed by instrumental jazz-ambient.

Actually, I just laughed off the cd, had dessert, and we headed home for some serious...palm-reading. The cd is on the entertainment unit where it will stay. She can listen to that stuff if she wants....as long as I'm not around.
