Ableton Forum

hi,

when i'm in my studio and my laptop is hooked to my soundcard, synths etc...
ableton starts up normally.
but when i unhook the laptop and then try to start ableton (for example for playing gigs, i only use
the laptop with a controller, without my other hardware), then ableton doesn't start up,
it says: serious program error, during startup.

so i can 't even go connect my laptop to the net in order to update ableton
(i connect to internet somewhere else than my studio therefore i have to unhook it from my hardware)
is there anyone who can give me some advice in order to prevent the error?

That's probably a question that would be better answered by the Ableton support team. Did you try emailing them yet?

no i didn't mail them yet...
thought the help section on the forum would do.
But indeed a good idea to check the support also.
