Ableton Forum

I'm using Ableton Live Lite 8. I imported a midi bass line loop. How do I know what key/root it is? I think by default it ended up in middle C, at least that's where it lies from what I can tell by the midi piano roll view. Is there a way in Live to easily and quickly know what key you're in and change it? I'm new to midi and really can't tell by ear what key it is.
