Hi Everybody,

I have been looking for quite a while now to buy Live 8. I tried a demo about 12 months ago and it was crashing a lot while using the demo so I thought I would hold off. Now I have downloaded the demo again and been playing with it for a couple of days through a macbook and an apogee duet and I've already had a couple of crashes while using some fabfilter plugins.

Is the consensus still that live is unstable? Do people have proven setups that work? Is it because I am using plugins?

If this is really annoying post I apologize, however I don't want to throw my money away because Live is not cheap.

i have an older macbook and a fast track pro....and live rarely crashes on me....although, i haven't tried using any plug ins or any of that type of thing....so

What happened to the general forum?
