Controling each separate part of a device

I cant seem too find any info on this.
I want to use my Nocturn keyboard via automap to control devices in Live but it seems stuck on the first instrument/envelope ie. kick, in Impulse or volume, in Simpler. I can't figure out how to switch control over to the other parts, I thought it would just map when I clicked on that part and made it turn yellow.
Sorry if I've missed somthing obvious in the manual,Ive looked extremely hard.
