Deleting a clip/affecting a clip's looping properties

Hey guys,

I've set up looping across multiple tracks as described in this Youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwywxD4lDE What I would now like to do is:

Delete the top clip in a track with a keyboard shortcut

Right now I can start (and stop) a new track recording by clicking 1 through 9 on the num pad. I would like to be able to delete a previously recorded track by using shirt+<num key value> or something similar. Is this possible? I will only ever have one clip per track with the current approach, so it would be ok if the command deleted all clips in a give track.

Affecting a clip's looping properties

Once I have recorded a clip I would like to be able to affect the looping properties with a key on the keyboard. More, specifically, right now I am recording a 4 beat loop which then loops normally. I would be able to press a key which would then just play the 1st beat of that loop. This is easily possible with the mouse through the interface, but how would I assign this to a key?

Thanks,

Mark
