Fader Problem in 8.2.2

I've just updated to 8.2.2 and I'm getting a bizarre "pseudo automation" with some of the faders. For example when I use Collision the midi track's volume fader only allows me to place it at 0, if I raise or lower it the value will be pushed upwards or downwards (meaning to 6 or - infin.
The same problem occurs with other knobs. Everything works fine with 8.2.1 so I imagine that it's an update issue.
Just putting this out there- if others have experienced this or if there is an easy solution.
