Two HDs and cpu usage

Hello
I have 2 HDs in my pc and have installed Windows in HD 1 and all plug-ins, softwares and Live Suite 8 in HD 2. Did I make a mistake installing Live in HD 2 with the other softwares and plugins (instead the one which is Windows)? I'm affraid it was not a good choice because I've noticed a much higher cpu usage, if I open a single instrument or plugin on Live the cpu meter goes to 15% or 20% very easly. When I had Live installed in the main HD with Windows I was not used to have this problem now I don't know if I made a bad choice installing Live with other softwares it on HD 2 or if this last version of Live present this kind of characteristic.
If I made a mistake and need to change Live to the main HD, unistalling Live from HD 2 to install it to HD 1 with Windows, am I going to have any kind of problem, like duplicated folders or something? Do I have also to delete specific folders after using the uninstaller? And will it be also necessary reauthorize Live and the add ons? I have also installed Max for Live and I don't know if I have to install it again... Maybe unistalling Live from one HD and reinstaling in another one, I have to reinstall max for live too? Is it better install Max in the same HD I install Live? Please guys I need some help here.
