how to have a jazzmutant lemur control 2 abletons on 2 macs

i cant seem to figure out how to make my lemur control 2 abletons at one time
i have 2 macbook pros, and run ableton on each of them, and the 2 computers are connected to eachother with an ethernet cable, i made one computer the master and the other the slave. i went into the audio/ midi setup on the master computer, went into network, and created a new session. then on the slaves computer, i went into audio/ midi setup, then into network, and connected to that session.
i havent been able to get in touch with the jazzmutant people just yet, and im sorta confused on how to set my lemur up for more then one computer. would i need to connect my computers to some kind of usb switch or hub? would the connection be through ethernet cables or would it be wireless. i dont really care how, as long as it works. i know this has to be possible in some way. i already have ethernet splitters, but if anyone can help me out here id really appreciate it.
