SUSTAIN/HOLD and APC40

Hey,

just got one little problem which i can't seem to solve by myself...

I got an apc40 and bought a sustain/hold pedal for it. (VFP 1/25)

When I plug it in my akais FS1 input it sends a CC#64 just as it should do.

But how can I set it up to work as a simple sustain/hold pedal. I really just want to be able to hold a note or some notes when I use my guitar synth to free my hands...

Any help would be appreciated :)

Thx you guys

If I recall, the apc uses that jack to send a midi note. Do you have any other devices? A keyboard??

First; Thanks 4 your reply!

2nd; Unfortunately no! Only my Roland Guitar Synth which I want to be able to use the pedal with :O

Again, the pedal works just fine but just starts/stops the selected clip when I press it (without any Midi-mapping, checked it a thousand times) - looks like this is the global setting for my cc64-message, but why!?!?

Any hints?

Thx again :D

cheers from vienna

Been trying to figure this out again today. still no luck.

come on. there must be an answer to this!

The pedal sends a CC 64 message. That's for sure. I used a monitoring program to check that. But by default it doesn't sustain ANYTHING. It just starts the selected clips in session view.

ANY HINTS? please... I'm desperate!
