How do I convert .wav to midi?

Alright, so I have a whole library of sounds available in .wav format, but how do I convert them to midi so that I can use my keyboard to do whatever I want to them? For example, I have a one-note guitar sound that does me no good as an audio/.wav file, but I could do a ton with it if I can convert it to midi. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

right click, slice to midi..
or put them in drum racks, sampler, simpler.. etc...

Thanks! I knew it had to be something simple, but I had know idea how to do it! I'll let you know if there are any problems.

With understanding, problems tend to go away. Everything would be clearer if you read up on what MIDI actually is.
MIDI is not sound. It is notes and control data. You send MIDI to instruments, which then make sound. If you have a sound file that you want to trigger with MIDI, you need an instrument that can load sound files. Such an instrument is called a sampler. As were stated, Live comes with a few.
