HI, just a quick Q: do you ever see the timeBPM value displayed on the MPD's screen?

The MPDs are 1 way only (except for clock) no status or CC feedback on them.

I was asking about the CLOCK...

I thought I did answer the question in saying the MIDI data is 1 Way Only. The only message sent back to the MPD is the clock signal (timing) for use with the note repeat function.

So to definitively answer the question, NO.
