no sound with amplifier

Hey guys.
I have ableton live lite 8 fender edition, and i'm having trouble connecting my amplifier.
Yesterday I had a problem with asio4all (i recently installed windows 7), it had no sound when I selected ASIO as driver type, but i managed to solve that in the hardware setup. Today I tried to record some things with my guitar but when I went to the hardware setup and turned on the amplifier (connected by USB), all my audio out devices had the symbol of "beyond logic". every thing works fine, the only problem is that I get no sound, i'm able to record but i can't hear the drum track.
does anyone know how to fix this? if it helps, i'm using a laptop with conexant high definition audio.
P.S. a week ago everything worked perfectly, when i was using windows XP.
