Should i get latency low enough with this usb card to use live 4.1 as a effects unit for scratching and guitar amplification with vst-plugins amplitube or ni guitar rig?
I'm working with an ibm centrino 1.6ghz, 512ddr and 60gig 7200rpm, radeon 128mb video card.
What's your lowest latency setting in+output with asio drivers; without glitches?

With Core Audio i get 6ms in and 6ms out with no glitching on this interface.
Not bad espcially considering what ihear about the rubbishness of M-Audio firewire stuff that i was also considering at the time of purchase.
I dunno what you'd get under XP/ASIO.

yea, that was quite what i expected.
Do you have to raise the latency when using two stereo ins and two stereo outs at the same time or does this work just as well?

I'm also intresed in this interface
would use it with MAC Powerbook. would work ok?
i need to do overdub recordings (recording one track over another, ...) so li may not have latency!!

i don't use it like that...yet. so couldn't tell you. ask the forum as a general question and you might get an answer.
