hi guys

just bought nano pad (2nd hand). liked the size, but can't get it working. It appears in preferences of ableton live

8 as pad or ctrl. I have both track and remote clicked on and sync off.

The weird thing is im getting a midi signal when i toggle the x-y pad which i've assigned to a random button.

But i get no midi signal with almost all the pads. The far top right pad intermittently works when i press really

hard. Does anyone know if this unit is broken. I also just downloaded the korg midi editor. Do i need to do something

there?

also, to correct, the top right button only works when i press the button next to it simultaneously. kinda weird, im kinda confused

I had a similar problem with my Nanopad. It seems that over time the pads become 'stuck'. I tried fixing mine but in the end just sliced off the pads and turned it into a stand-alone USB XY controller.
