Self-Contain not working from PC to Mac OSX

Anyone found a way to make self-contain actually work when you save a song on a PC (XP) and then open it up on OSX? Mac OSX can't find the samples. I called Guitar Center, and the Live guru there said he has had the same problem, and didn't have a solution.

working fine here.
question... and yes it sounds simple, but when troubleshooting you gotta start with the simplest solutions first.
are you moving the sounds folder over to mac as well?

OK, this was a first-time thing for me. I got it now... you have to copy the "sounds" folder as well as the .als file.
It's all good. Thanks!

tip
figure out how "guitar center guru" is like "jumbo shrimp" and you will save yourself a lot of trouble in the future

yea me thinks the "guru" at GC is really just the only guy who knows that Ableton is cheaper than Logic, and not much else.
