Is it possible to draw actual curves in automation?

ie. not just approximating curves by drawing lots of little points with smaller sections of smaller lines.
Or, for those who are familiar with Illustrator and Photoshop - 'Bezier' curves.
Is this possible?

Ok, thanks for clearing that up.
I know Bezier curves are a little tricky to use for a rookie, but they should at least give the option to be able to create curves.
What about the little cross-fade that you can specify between clips - that is curved! Why aren't their true curves elsewhere?!

whats wrong with taking off the grid, zooming out, enabling draw on your automation and drawing a simple curve?

ITs all chucky and jagged when I do that - I can never quite get it as smooth as I might like it.

Yeah, I'd hardly call what the pen/pencil tool draws a 'curve'

Use generator/effects that has built in envelope/lfo.
Or.... get graphics tablet to draw nice curved line

.

i think you are more interested in the curve than how your music sounds. Because the difference would be very small to the listener. u whore

No, but you can use hardware. Twisting a dial ads more points on the curve. So if you practice it / get it right, it'll be more curve like without manually going right down to tweak points yourself.
TBH, I don't miss curves greatly from FL... I find I can get it close enough with a few more points, well positioned, that would be entirely unnoticeable to anyone.

come on guys, humans are not so limited!
They can use some brain and finger tip to achieve such curves
adding to this there's a funny phonetic word trick in french with bézier.
that would sound like a F@ckRoom curve
