Ableton Forum

Hey guys..
I am having some issues in regards to connecting my Access Virus Synth to my computer so that I can actually get the sound from the Synth into Ableton suite..
I recently purchased the Traktor Kontrol s4 knowing that it has a built in Audio Interface so that I could connect the synth to the Traktor and have the signal then go from the Traktor into the computer and then into Ableton but I can't seem to get to to work.

I was wondering if anyone has gone through a similar situation who could help me out in regards to connecting an external synth and going through the audio interface and into Ableton

I was informed that with any sort of setup like this that I need to have the Midi in of the synth connected to the Midi out of the Traktor(which doesn't make sense to me.. I would think you would want the midi out of the synth connected to the midi in of the Traktor) and that I need to connect my OUT 1 ( L/R ) to an input of the Traktor.

Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
