BEST DUBSTEP SAMPLE PACK FOR ABLETON!?

Post by PatrickReza » Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:34 pm

I'm looking for a good variety of dubstep bass sounds, fills, sfx, wobbles, etc (no drums as i made my own drum beats)

honestly dude, your better off making your own in a synth such as Massive or Sylenth. If you do find some basic bass samples its easy to make them Wobble using LFO automation in Auto-filter or Simpler/Sampler.
Not talking shite but looking for pre wobbled basses is kinda lame, don't ya think. Your sound would be very un-original and let's face it, where's the fun in that?

You'd be amazed at the sounds you can get with a simple saw wave, a low-pass filter and an LFO. All of which are freely available. Plus you'll get the satisfaction of knowing YOU completely created it.

+1

There are hundreds of tutorials on the net. Get familiar w/ just one synth and I'm sure you can create some interesting UNIQUE sounds from scratch. Nobody wants to hear the same sound everyone else is using.

If you're really looking to make dubstep without even attempting to create your own bass, probably the most fundamental element of the music, just rinse the NI Massive "brutal electro" preset like everyone else :|
TTKK / NOODLES / iANDALE! / TIGERBEAT6 / HOT & HEAVY etc

This question goes round and round in forums. There is no such thing as a dub step instrument. You just need a good LFO. This LFO is both a step sequencer and LFO for wobbling anything:

Everyone goes on about Massive. But, you can create the same effect with almost any subtractive synth and some LFO.
